So I just found out my email account had been sending the spam emails trying to get people to click on a link. I have already changed the password and security question. Is there anything else I should do? I also deleted all my contacts just in case as ridiculous as it sounds. I never clicked any of the links but my computer recently got an update. Had this ever happened to anyone else? What precautions should be taken? TYIA.
I did a quick search on beyond but couldn't read anything on iPhone.

You have done basically everything you can. Microsoft Security Essentials is good and its a free anti-virus.
