How's that for a fucked up world.

Former leader of the UCK, classified by the US and others as a terrorist organization as late as 1998, joins with the US, swaps names to KLA, then becomes PM of the province.

And now, besides his hands on in the Albanian heroin trade, gets named for Organ trafficking abuses...

Nice guy!

Toma, US terrorism designations don't mean shit to you, so this man is not a terrorist by that measure. If you're unwilling to call Al-Queda and the Taliban terrorist groups, you're logically unable to call the leader of the KLA a terrorist, as you don't recognize US assertions of that sort. Just makes sense is all.

I'm still in shock that the farce we call Kosovo today is allowed to have a Prime Minister... Great job US of A! :banghead:

Menachem Begin was a member of a Jewish terrorist organization in the 1940's (yes, such a thing is possible) before becoming the Prime minister of Israel in 1977.

Of course...

But one always has the naive HOPE that with the internet, and faster information (albeit also faster propaganda) dissemination, things like this would be less likely to happen....

Plus a war criminal to boot... needs to be over at the Hague.

There's a whole bunch of terrorists in the UK House of Commons. Gerry Adams was also a member of a terrorist organization (by the UK, nevermind the U.S.)

Hell, the First Minister of Northern Ireland is a former Provisional IRA leader. This sort of stuff isn't uncommon.
