Well, for a "Santa present," (we open one present a year on Christmas Eve as a fun, often utilitarian, present) this year I got an Kaloric Automatic Tea Maker. It's just like a coffee percolator, except the basket has a slightly looser weave to allow water to flow through leaves better. I tried it out and DAMN does it make a tasty cuppatea :D

So far today (stockings):

-Socks/Undies (tradition)
-Big bar of toblerone equivalent (tradition)
-LOTS of tea (Chai, English Blend, and a top shelf Earl Grey (imported from the UK) that I can't remember the name of the brand right now)
-Wheel of Time box set books 4-6
-House of Chains by Steven Erikson
-new winter hat (one of those ones with the big flappy ear covers ^_^)
-random userful things like LCD cleaner, a glasses cloth, antiperspirant, shower body wash, etc

Final gifts (the mains):

-$50 GC to Chapters (WOO!!! BOOSBOOKSOBOOKSBOOKSBOOKS!!!!!!!)
-$100 GC to Cineplex Odeon (and some free popcorn vouchers that come every so many $ spent, yay for artery cloggage :P)
-Art folder 13x19 + archival matte spray for my comic/convention art that I collect. Now they'll finally be stored properly and won't yellow over time :D
-Iron Man 2 blu-ray

Very successful year this year for me :D

Didn't give anything or get anything this year. No need for material objects right now. My parents did treat me to a 216 meter bungee jump (highest in the world I believe) off the Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa, though.

I sold the poobaru and bought a 96 Civic CX hatchback. 2200 pounds, NO OPTIONS. Helloooooo turbocharger, stripped interior, konis + ground controls, and enkei RPF01's. Killer time attack car :D

Oh yea, a 1.5TB portable hd along with a 60gb solid state drive to put windows 7 on. And a wireless logitech keyboard/mouse set... and a bitchin' Panasonic electric razer.

I basically bought all of this stuff for myself though, my parents paid for half of my airfare for my last race, so that is what I received.

I don't really care about getting gifts though, just enjoy being with family, friends, and eating!

New computer/monitor/dvd set up for my bedroom, coach purse that's actually really nice (even though I'm so not a purse person), a few new kitchen gadgets, some gift cards and misc stocking stuffers. Wrong. You can download the newly released app "isocks" and can warm your feet to the desired temperature with the swipe of a finger. You even have the option to pick from wool socks, ankle socks, socks with holes in them, etc.

Kind of long for food poisoning to stick around isn't it? Have you seen a doctor?

That sucks though, can't imagine a worse christmas then shitting and puking my way through the holidays.

Free Economist and the Times in Business Class rock! That's the only time I have a chance to read it. They charge a ridiculous amount for it internationally in book stores internationally...usually $8-10!

Didn't get much this year. Some things that I got (gifts from others or to myself).

About $200 cash
Got myself a Abercrombie and Fitch Jacket. Love this, it's ridiculously warm with inner fur lining.
A few colognes.
Gf got me a ticket for the event that we are going to for New Years and really nice Duchamp cufflinks from Holt Renfrew.
