i have a 98 acura integra and they seem to not working any more, is this usual for a 5 year old car almost 6, for those trunks to stop working and not stay up, were should i get them fixed or i heard you can get some shit at canadian tire to replace them, how expensive are they? thanks for the help

Go to the dealer or whatever and get replacement ones, dont think you can really fix those lift assist shocks.....so your best bet go to a dealer or wreckers or see if some beyonders have some extra ones :thumbsup:

Yeah canadian tire, Auto Value or the dealer. Should be about $20-$30 each.

Hey one of my buddies is having the same problem with his Integra, must be a common problem. It shouldn't be too hard to fix man, but if you don't fix it it'll drive you crazy. It's a pain in the ass getting hit in the head by the trunk trying to load it up, he sais the pistons work better when it's warmer outside.

I have the Cheap Bastard fix - Use a piece of 2x4 or IC plumbing hose!
