haha my 335i was never wintered, but I drove a friends 328XI without winters and honestly it felt very stable.

Slick ride Sorath. Does it have horsepower of 330 or something?

Sorath

KRyn: not modding for now, trying to stay close to stock as possible, though i know modding is inevitable.

sneek: been driving the car really slow today, it has problems turning in some areas going like 10-15km/h feels pretty slippery to me. Either way we'll see what happens.

CUG: i thought it only had 300hp/300tq

Nice car, engine is under rated, it's more in the 325hp + range.

:bigpimp: Nice ride Sorath.

Curious as to what the actual OTD price for a new 335XI is if you don't mind sharing.

Does the Juicebox tune void your warranty or can you flash back to stock for dealer visits?

Does the Juicebox tune void your warranty or can you flash back to stock for dealer visits? Low to mid 50s minus any special programs plus GST.

Yes, it void the warranty with any tuning box (JB).

Remapping is better because it can go back to stock file easily. There is a handheld for end-user (DIMSPORT MYGENIUS) that allows to store up 10 files including stock file. anytime you visit the dealer just swap to the original file back in matter of minutes or no handheld, simply go a tuner shop to swap into original file usually free of charge if you buy a tuned file from same tuner.

the tuning box aka JB is a hardware and can be visible by the dealer and will void the warranty quickly.

Remapping = expensive (software, real parameters, better fuel consumption, boost the psi, better throttle, better driveability)

Tuning box = cheaper (hardware, fake parameters, more fuel consumption, just boost the psi, nothing else)

IMO if you car is a CPO, remapping is recommended.

That is why I got a JB+

In and out in 30 seconds or less. No tool marks, nothing to take apart and CHEAP. Also, no chance of bricking the ECU.

Do BMW ECU's have flash counters? There always seems to be a debate over if dealers can tell if you ECU has been re-flashed.

Very nice car BTW.

why not just get the dinan software upgrade which honors the manufacturers warranty? $2500 = 384hp and 420 ft/lbs of torque.
Also, the amount of codes they change is over 2000, keeping the car very civil for daily driving while still being able to rip the tires off whenever you feel like it. They might even have a discount going for it right now.. is that a 2011?

Specially for new or CPO cars.
It depends . If you car needs to be serviced for maintenance such oil change. the dealer won't tell or notice about ecu. If the engine check is on or has been on a recall, swap to the original flash is a must. The tuners know this well.

If you car is not a cpo or out of warranty, the dealer does not care obviously.

found out my slippery problem! I thought these cars came with all seasons, i took a closer look and they are a summer tire. Just switched to KW22 with studs and it drives like a dream, these tires are best bang for buck
