At first I was thinking that this was going to be a repost, but I havn't seen that one before.

I love how intriguing photos like that can be, because any part of the photo can have hidden gems - you just can't see it until you dig deeper into it. I am curious if this one was done like many others, where many multiples of frames are stitched together to create such a dense photo. Also, I would really like to know what the specs are of the computer used to edit such a gargantuan image...

The majority of the time these photos are created by many smaller photos stitched together.


Most of the photographs that are claimed to be the largest are usually stitched from smaller images. The Legacy Project photograph made in Irvine, California is an exception to this in that it was made as a single exposure on a seamless piece of sensitized fabric using a building as a huge camera.
