I love asian foods, especially Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Looking for recommendations on recipes, I'm bored and feel like cooking up something tasty, any ideas?

For vietanmese food, just about everything mainstream for viet foods can be found here:

I do have to note, she's pretty hardcore. Everything is prepared from scratch - no buying pre-mixed spices etc. She notes when/where you can buy the pre-mixed seasoning/spices instead of doing it her way. She's also got some korean, japanese and chinese recipes in there too.

according to western restaurants (fast food and earls type places even), all you need to do is add almonds, mandarin oranges and dry noodle crackers then sprinkle sesame seeds and its an 'asian' dish :poosie: ... :barf:

but that website you posted hampstor is awesome, i've always wanted to try making some sort of pho, Bun Bo Hue attempt #1 sometime in the near future

i could give you lots of asian recipes OP but they're not of indochina origin

thanks hampstor, found a couple on that site I'm going to try this afternoon. @n1zm0, I'm not to picky about where they are from, if they're good, post 'em up.

Food always tastes so much better when you've made it yourself tho!

There are a few things on that site that you can't buy at a restaurant - a lot of it is vietnamese home cooking. Some of my favorites that bring back some childhood memories:
