I just bought a new 9500ix and updating it through escort dector tools. It says connected with the serial number and update with escorts software.

I want to add my locations which is called " Merge your data" which is light grey and i can't click on it anyone know why?

That means merge your speedcamera/trap locations. I assume you havent marked any of those locations yet, so it wont let you since you have no data to merge.

How can i merge if it wont let me click on it?

You can't merge locations that you haven't marked yet, get in your car, go for a drive, find a spot you want to mark and mark it. Then go home and merge the marked location with the data base. Repeat the above steps for each location you want marked. Only merge the ones you really really want because I don't think you can "unmark" them after they have been merged without resetting everything.

The pre-programmed cameras loaded on the Escort wasn't one that i drove by in calgary. I have marked 10 locations with cameras and still this isn't working. I can't merge it because the icon is grey not green. Am i missing something here??

Just so people know...You can't merge locations with the 9500i

The 9500i also does NOT come with preloaded camera locations.

You must buy a 9500ix or get the 9500i updated through escort for $129.99 to make it a 9500xi
