transfer cd to usb? please help!

hi

i just bought a new netbook and it only came with windows7 starter edition. i have a windows7 that i bought to upgrade my other 2 pc's. im just wondering how do i transfer the windows 7 cd onto a USB so i can boot it for the netbook.

You need to first use a program to rip the image, and then put it all on the usb, and tell your netbook to boot from usb. I think Daemon tools can do it....i forget.


FYI, usb dvd writers are CHEAP as hell now, like 40$ at memory express...that would be a better route IMO.
