My boy Jett - A photo series

Finished a photo shoot from Sunday, he was one month old on that day.

Took about 100 photos and found a handful that worked well as a series.

No, we wanted names that started with J, our daughters name starts with a J as well. Then we wanted something very uncommon. I'm a big Martial Arts fan and Jet Li came to mind. My fiances last name is Lee, so I really wanted his name to be Jett Lee Taylor, but after I mentioned Jet Li the actor she wasn't impressed with the idea...lol.

So we settled with Jett Colton Taylor.

haha we just did a cake smash for my son. problem was, we've taught him to be neat, as a result he wouldn't smash the darn cake. He'd grab a tiny piece and eat it cleanly. d'oh!

I'm going to photograph him every month from the day he was born for one year and then put together a little flash series to show the changes over the year.

It would be more story telling if you did it with something. For instance we do a photo of Lucas with the same snowman every 3 months (he was born in Dec so the snowman is fitting) but it's been really neat to see how he's changed in comparison to the snowman over the last two years.
