Unfortunately, the value isn't really what's stated, you can book online and get that deal for about $750/person. Still, it was free, so you can put it up for $1000 and I bet it'll be gone in a heartbeat.

I think this pretty much explains what you need to know.

Didn't see that part. You could always take your little one with you in a year or so, or plan a weekend getaway with just your wife?

The value is over inflated but it shouldn't be hard to get $1500 out of it.

U can get into Bellagio for about $700 each during low time. And most people don't really care where they stay in Vegas. You won't sleep much anyway.

If you didnt "cash it in" yet than u could still possibly sell it. Otherwise if u reported it to safeway already than ur SOL.

by my logic i would assume that its still okay to sell it to someone else and they can claim it.

Only problem, is somewhere down the line in the fine print the person u sell it to might come back to u asking for their money back as they werent able to claim it.

He cant let someone else claim it, it is tied to his Safeway club card so they have his name.

Well, I don't think you'll be selling it. If you do, and you've claimed the prize already, you'll have a very pissed off buy when they aren't able to travel on that ticket.

Whenever I get one of these at the self checkout, it's from a girl who isn't paying attention at all and just hands them out from a giant stack she has sitting beside her. They don't scan them or anything.

I agree with Dex.

So sick in there. The drop-off valet area makes you feel fancy just for being there.

ya it was fun! pm me if you want some tips...i don't know if it's general knowledge on beyond but i learned 3 things that can save you cash:

1. 24hr buffet that comes w/ coupon book
2. transit pass. there's an option for 3 days instead of 5 days in case you aren't staying over 3 days.
3. discount ticket booths that will save you almost 50% on almost all shows and restaurants.

it was only my 2nd time there so i'm not exactly as familiar as others may be. if you've got tips, post it up! my family is heading to vegas in april and i might go with them! :D

1. Buffet food are mediocre, most are not worth it, especially without discounts.

2. If you can fill it and staying more than 3 days, it probably give you more mobility renting a car. Especially you can check out Vegas beyond the strip. Self Park is always free on all properties on the strip.

3. Only unpopular restaurants get discounts. Same with shows. But is is better than paying MSRP. Also, sign up for Mlife and you can get discounts on shows within MGM properties. I'm sure there are other member reward programs from other hotels.

i like the coupon book that they give out when you sign up for the 24hr buffet. the only ones that i actually used were the '2 free admission to the auto collection' ($8.95/person reg. price) and the '2 for 1 at the eifel tower' ($10/person reg price).
