Lineup just announced. Any of you guys going to make the trip south? I'm hoping they're selling single day tickets this year, since Sunday is the only day I really want to go since I've already seen Arcade Fire.

I went last year with X92.9 (yay caller #9) and had an absolute blast. Got to see alot of big acts and managed to stumble across new bands I now listen to on a regular basis.

This years lineup looks to be pretty decent actually....I may want to convince some buddies on heading down there this year....

playing with the idea of going again... last year was a organizational mess though... huge lines to get in on the first day.... terrible traffic, phones were useless since 80,000 people were on the same tower.... uhh but great bands and great weather

California vs. Illinois.
I'd go, but none of my friends seem to enjoy roadtrips.

IMO chicago is the nicest city in the US save MAYBE Boston and some of New York. The weather is amazing in the summer and the music scene is untouchable. Of course, this is just my opinion.

If you can go, I would highly recommend.

Thinking about it, decent line up and always nice to go to California.

Get Des and Hopper in, and we can do some surfing and camping like the last time. 4x5hr shifts, we'll be there in a day.

Hmm, my favourite major American city is Seattle. Favourite state is California, particularly the North. Best roads in all of North America twist their way through the Redwood forest.

Yea wish it was a week later, finals:thumbsdow

ercchry; where are you flying into? palm springs?

LA, air canada one way and westjet the other, since westjet only does day flights into LA and i didnt want to take an extra day off work. flying to LA is about $300 cheaper than palm springs and the drive isn't too terrible either.

damn... should have bought 4 and sold 2 to pay for the trip

last year tons of people were walking the streets leading up to the grounds with signs looking for tickets

im sure some will free up though since some of those tickets were probably purchased on layaway and with something this big some people will be bound to default on them
