Any suggestions for a great breakfast joint near Chinook for a Friday breakfast meeting?

Preferably within a 5 minute drive of the mall.

i second 99th ave cafe, although it's probably more than 5 minutes (depending on traffic).

99th Ave Cafe is good though. it's just plain, simple cafe food, but it's the best breakfast you'll find in the area for sure.

I've also been told that Ricky's right across from MacLeod is good, but i've never been there so can't say for sure.

EDIT: oh, and there is also the pannekoeken place on Glenmore and Crowchild, if you're into that sort of thing.

Holy ... I used to work at an auto shop right near Chinook. Me and the guys used to order breakfast from a place called "Manchester Deli". It was the bomb! You could get eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast for $7.

The best part? They delivered!

Manchester Deli
414 Manitou Road Southeast
Calgary, AB
(403) 243-1663

Not sure if they're still open with the same prices. It's been a few months since I've eaten there.

**edit
I just noticed you asked about a breakfast meeting place  I replied having only read the title.

Been there. Overrated in my opinion; neither the food nor ambience were better than mediocre.
