Well, winter sucks if you're a cyclist, but in the past few days the roads are pretty dry, decent weather, etc...

That means that every chump with a bike isn't on the road, so more time for your long awaited opportunity to go out and ride.

GO RIDE, Beyond!

It's too early, I mean I haven't even started my trainer season yet. I generally don't get back on the bike until late January and then it's on the trainer for a few months until the weather improves.

The weather was perfect today, roads were okay...
So i pulled my bike out and rode my bike across the city to school.

.. and what is typically a 45min+ commute in a car, i did the trip in ~30mins both ways.
Pretty damn stoked, being gridlocked in traffic sucks.

Why not?

Just wash your bike after, and make sure your chain is lubed before you go....
GO RIDE!

It doesn't look like spring is coming, so I'm riding to work in the freezing cold, because it's better to ride 15 mins. than to walk 35 mins....
I'm riding my old GT Avalanche with old school Mavic CrossMax wheels and V-brakes. I've never had a problem with my freehub giving out, I think it would have to be -50 C before that happened.
