Looking to compile a list of Calgary's best breakfast buffets. Anywhere that includes Eggs bennies in their buffet is a HUGE plus.

So far I know of:

Traders @ The Marriott downtown ($20/person - decent selection of food, packaged holandaise sauce is :thumbsdow )

Tea House @ top of COP ($?)
Mother Tuckers ($?)(looks like shitty reviews on google)
Executive Royal Inn ($?)
Coast Plaza ($?)

I've been going to traders quite frequently, but I'm looking for something that is a step up. I went to the Tea House @ COP a long time ago and as I recall the food was impressive, but I forget what the pricing was like. As for the rest, I have never been but would appreciate any information.

If anyone has other reccomendations (BUFFETS ONLY - this means no Cora) please post the location, price and your experience!

I always loved Mother Tuckers, but I have never been there for breakfast.

Someone told me about a week ago that they closed down about 2.5 weeks ago.

It's true, they did.

My favourite buffet is at the Grey Eagle casino. $15 on Sunday and it's pretty darn good.

Nicks Steakhouse! Hands down.
$22 (as per last week), but includes unlimited steak, eggs benny, omelettes, home made desserts (I used to work at Nicks and yes they are made there).

Amazing food.

I love this place. Let's go again mario! Bolero is also not bad. I think it's better than doing their dinner. It's the same thing but 15 bucks cheaper

I never got why people like Nicks. I admit the last time I went there I got a pizza, but it was a shitty pizza. And steaks are one of the easiest things to cook... So what else do they have?

Yeah I thought the Hyatt was pretty good! Pricey considering you eating breakfast/brunch but then again, you can stuff yourself so silly that you barely eat dinner.

Nick's was just OK. The steak was only OK considering they were a steakhouse. I wasn't too terribly impressed. I thought the Hyatt was better (no steak but since this is breakfast/brunch, not a deal breaker).

Not personally a big fan of buffets. Would rather pay the same amount or a bit less and have my food cooked to order. As far as buffets go, the best one I've been to in Calgary is the Delta Bow Valley downtown.

Whats not to like? Ive never had a bad pizza at Nicks... But to each their own. I dont have any shares in the place, so ill leave it at that, but i'd urge you to give it another try.

You have to realize they aren't going to serve their best cuts of steak for a breakfast buffet - they steaks are still dece for that they are.

Im not a fan of nicks either. It seems over priced for what it is.
