Well,

Completely stock for about 16,000+

Or,

All that (Aside from ugly rear bumper) for $18,000.

If it runs good and looks tight, I'd say its not bad, Cali car as well.

yeah well body has over 200xxxkm but engine has less then 70xxx but he said he didnt have paper work for that since he got it from his friend... so just to be on the safe side and just think as if it did have 205xxxkm waht it would be worth

US car with a ton of kms on the chassis that's been driven hard. Not worth anywhere near that IMO.

So no paperwork to show it has a new motor just seems like an easy
way to inflate the price.

i wouldnt even say 10,000
G35's are known to have many electrical problems and if he saying he has no paperwork for the engine work then you never know the truth :dunno:

if so called "friend" did the engine work, try to see if he can locate it and provide it.

Why do you even want that car? That looks like a piece.

Those mods (including supercharger) drop the value of the car not increase it.

At least he didn't say "granny driven, never raced"

That's way too much imho for that many kms and being boosted.

I sold my g35 coupe last year for 16ish - it had mild mods (headers, intake, high flow cats, md iso thermal plenum spacer) and 50k kms. Also threw in winter rims/tires with it.

I'd offer him like 12-14 today if I wanted to buy it, although I'd be highly suspect of it

This.

I doubt I'll ever sell my boosted car, just keep it as a keepsake when I'm tired of plating it every summer.

I know every single mile that's ever been put on it and every hand that's ever worked on it and, honestly, I wouldn't ever want to sell it to anyone I didn't know for fear shit would go wrong.

That and I'd never buy a boosted car from anyone I didn't know unless a trusted common mediator could vouch for the work, the maintenance and the level of abuse. That being said, if the deal was insanely cheap enough (which this one is not even close) and you had the rebuild budget going in then...... :nut:

Paying over 16 grand cash for a car that is going out of style and is about to be 7 years old is outrageous, not to mention the amount of uncertainty behind it.

Vq's are crazy reliable, I had 2 vq cars myself. I wouldn't pay any more for a modified car than a mint stock one though. I would pay lowest book. Plus why was the motor swapped and not rebuilt? Was the motor a new one?

well he said before he supercharged it he decided to swap he motor for one that had lower km so he got one from his buddy, he has tons of repciets for maintainence and upgrades he also had it compresion tested and everything .

You really really want to buy that piece of crap don't you?

I would check the compression on the engine. Maybe a leakdown too. Should show if the engine is healthy.
