I know it's been occurring for decades, but it's becoming annoyingly rampant.

For example, last night I watched "Kick-Ass". Decent movie, but Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu with all the blatant Apple advertising.

The worst I've seen was GM for Transformers. Not only were the robots GM, the extras were as well.

Fringe and apple are another bad one, they try for subtle but it's getting worse with every show and very new apple product.. IE when the iPad came out they almost everyone holding one.

If it is blatant that I notice it, unless it is in something like waynes world or 30 rock, it drives me nuts.

Product placement works well in comedy to make it obvious.
