This is true, but now I'm curious what a study of celebrity millionaires and intelligence would show. The requirements to get rich through hard work and innovation vs the requirements to get rich by being a pretty face with a personality that appeals to the lowest common denominator are fairly different.

If Sarah Palin had an IQ to match her Emotional IQ, she'd be in the White House right now plotting ways to bump off President McCain. She has a ridiculous amount of charisma, but just can't keep her shit together for any amount of time so as not to turn off anyone with a lick of common sense. So while she still has her rabid supporters, their numbers are too few to make her a real threat as anything but an instigator. Her main contribution to politics is going to be as a stepping stone for others that are able to take the message that she helped make popular but communicate it in a way that doesn't make the majority of the population facepalm in unison
