Blackberry Restoring Backup Question

Not sure where to post this so I decided just to make a new thread.

I recently upgrade OS on my phone but i didnt do a normal backup through Blackberry Desktop Manager. However, when I loaded the OS it did a backup itself and it saved on the computer. When I open the DM and click restore, it doesnt bring up the file.

So basically, does anyone know how i can restore that backup onto my phone?

Maybe check to see in the settings on DM where the default save area is located.

Search for an *.ipd file on your computer.


Check settings, maybe its looking in a different directory for this ipd file to restore and can't find one.

figured it out....i had did a regular backup through DM and then when i clicked restore the old ipd file showed up with the new one.
