Bloody 'ell, look at that guvnor! Shes gonna fight the US of A.

It will slightly benefit Canada, and greatly benefit the Brits. If it allows me better access to the LME (metal exchange) I'm all for it.

If we could get Hong Kong onside - wow... Resources, management and manufacturing heaven.

Good old commonwealth. Too bad they discontinued Gold Sovereigns in 2007...

The Currency Wars have officially begun.

Something to do with this maybe...

Deustche Boerse AG (DB1.XE) and NYSE Euronext (NYX) on Wednesday confirmed that they were in advanced merger talks to form a combination that would create the world's largest share- and derivatives-trading platform.

More news. Combined would be worth $6 Billion.

Yeah... Does that tell everyone how much the US has been printing money - when Zuckerburg can make a glorified IRC and be worth more than Toronto and Londons exchanges combined.

Lol. Damn that does it for me, no more US dollars.

Heard that there will be a lot of govt approvals before we see this happening.
Some how the Quebec securities commission needs to approve this merger too?!?
The issue that they've raised so far is (and I don't know all the exact details) that it would equate to too much foreign ownership and would Canada approve this?

Interested to see what unfolds...
