I thought the leica was pretty good at 1.0 but it's only 50mm

that's pretty cool...there's also a guy in town with a 300 2.0 that's pretty insane, along with a collection of other rare old glass

at a distance of 10 feet the 180 1.3 at 1.3 would have a dof of 0.07 feet, the 300 2.0 at 2.0 has a depth of field of 0.04 feet. By contrast the 50mm 1.0 would have a depth of field of 0.72 feet. Of course the difference would come in the minimal focus distance.

in case you're curious the big round one in the middle is the nikkor 8mm AI-S, also a very rare lens, that makes a very strange circular image...lol

I actually used that lens once.. Useless fact.. Very cool though

Apparently, this lens has a couple brothers. A 240mm F/1.2 and 250mm F/1.3
That is insane.
That guy has quite a collection there. Crazy!
