Just wanted some input from 335 drivers I'm in the market to change my brakes and possibly the rotors too but not sure if I should go back to OEM because of the dust. Just wanted to see what others had as a set up for a daily driver. I'm also just waiting to hear back from Tunerworks as I see they sell Axxis Brake pads according to their site.

Suggestions & Recommendations pls.

Performance pads will dust even more than the oem.

They will still squeak like a 20 year old civic's brakes.

Went to Brembos on mine, the stock brakes squeal like a mofo. There is a spray you can get that will kill the noise-wish I could remember the name of it but you can pick it up at Auto-Value. Dust wise, something you just have to live with owning a BMW I think.

The dust sucks. I find myself washing my wheels more than anything else on the car. It's just going to be something you have to live with.

Regarding the brakes in general, OEM works fine with me.

OEM pads always have allot of dust. I have ran Axxis ultimates on my current and old BMW. it dusts less, doesnt squeak and bites better. win win.

I got around the brake dust issue by getting darker/gunmetal wheels  hides the dust well. But they still squeel in winter mostly.

BMW suggests to change discs and brake pads thats why i'm trying to find out if I gotta do that might as well look at my options swapping the entire package.

This is a great deal-stock brakes are around $500 anyways. I have Brembos but if I were replacing the fronts I'd do this

Huge upgrade if it will actually fit the 335 for very little $ compared to anything else.

if its under warranty. sure!
However I dont think its necessary replace both at the same time only unless your rotors need replacing. Pads will always wear faster than rotors.

100% agree, as long as your rotors are not warped and within acceptable spec it is totally fine to reuse the rotors. BMW always suggests to change both at the same time but it is not always required.

so OEM sounds like what you guys recommend any other places in town that sell the pads only or do I just go pick them up from BMW.
