Tried that a hundred times and no worky. It overrides whatever I type in.

I dont know how to do a screen shot but I can if someone directs me to how.

Also, here is the address.

res://mshp.dll/index.html#37049

I had that happen as well. Open up your Add/Remove programs tool and look for a small program, which at the moment I cannot remember? It will have been used recently, so look for the last time it was used date. Remove it and then reboot your computer. Sorry that I can't remember what it was called.

checking for a small installed program should fix that, if not you can change it manually in the registry!

spybot didnt dix it? there are option in spybot to lock up the homepage change... has it been unchecked if it was previously? that would prevent it also

the homepage mine sends me to is res://mshp.dll/index.html#22776
and all the same things as happening to me, and everytime I sign into beyond I get this popup for a sex dating service.
I was gonna ask if beyond is trying to whore us all out. :poosie:

Run a Google search for "res://mshp.dll/index.html#22776"

when you run spybot, did you remember to update it first?

also try checking the system registry
search for "start page" and see if the corresponding key results in the nuisance page. if so, delete the url

switch to the Opera browser... i actually prefer it to IE... and you can stop pop-ups and other IE vulnerable stuff from installing
