I don't understand. If it's really uncut lost footage then it's one of the greatest scientific discoveries of all time. If it's a hoax then the producers are risking their careers to get laughed into oblivion. Which is it?

Okay but I still don't get it. They said it's raw, uncut, found footage. So that would mean it's unedited...........obviously that's a lie. I didn't see Paranormal Activity, I have no idea what it's about. I just can't figure out this trailer.

They prolly just say that to get more interest in the movie. Like the other movie that came out a couple years ago, The Fourth Kind. The way they made it, all seemed so real and inspired by true events, but in the end we found out that it was all a hoax. Nonetheless, this movie looks interesting, have always enjoyed such titles so probably will check it out.

It's exactly like Blair Witch, they said that was found , uneditted footage as well of those film students... it's just a movie made to seem real dude ;) Don't try to over analyze it.
