Not showing up for me, probably hotlink-protected.
The idea of running 40-inch tires with zero lift is certainly an interesting one and keeps the COG much lower indeed.
Personally, I'd rather see them put the Hurricane concept into production. :D

Just broken images for me.
That is really nice though - I'd drive that in a second. I'd rather have it in rescue green, mind you...

I love that thing and have been looking at it for a while now.
One day Jeep will ask Jeepers what we actually want and when they deliver will have the best sales ever I bet.

They should have stuck to the original models.

Dude, this is like the original willy's and CJ's and shit, just with jacked fenders and big tires and a 5.7L Hemi V8 under the hood!

Then again they seem to think this is what people want... so it might be a while

Oh I love the Lower Forty concept. I almost love it too much.
It's the Jeep in Sugarphreaks post I dislike;

Even with that big v8 it'd be slow as balls. That being said, I love the look and I'd probably buy one if I had some spare cash kicking around. I imagine it'd command a premium price tag with a look like that though.

I would not worry too much about the speed aspect. Those kinds of vehicles are not really designed to go fast nor would I want to go fast in one.

Maybe you could change the gearing, lower it, slap on slome slicks and a wing and hit the strip. Then again, maybe you could buy a car if you feel the need. Yes, THAT need. The need, for speed.
Also, I cannot believe no one has pointed out the other obvious flaws of this seemingly dedicated 4 wheel drive machine. It doesn't appear to offer suitable seating for 6 - 8 passengers and is ill equipped to tow a wakeboarder.
WTF???? :dunno:
