But it is scary that the US passed S510 which makes it illegal to Grow, Share, Trade or Sell Homegrown Food (IE: Food produced in a city area)

Its a "food safety issue", sort of like letting people raise chickens in cities.

Personally I think they have a point. If people actually realized how much chemicals used to be put in things like asphalt and railroads, and how many de-icing chemicals were spread on the roads, you would not want to eat anything coming out of city block in a larger older metropolis.
