I saw this last night on my way home and it just makes you wonder WTF is wrong with people? You really have to fuck up bad to do this on a straight road and jump over that snow bank... This happened just off John Laurier, just across the street from the Y.

Enjoy!

The guy could have hit a bump in the road while accelerating and lost control. But for that to happen in a SUV you'd have to be pretty stupid.

How is that even possible on that road

Not surprising at all. Roads were shit this morning and I bet those ain't winters tires.

Did anyone saw the truck on Crowchild that launched itself off the C-Train guardrail this morning and landed on the side a bus ahead of it?

Heard it was quite spectacular.

Worst road conditions all winter and some people still follow too close and refuse to slow down accordingly.:thumbsdow I saw three preventable fender benders unfold ahead and beside me yesterday on my way home from work. People just don't take driving seriously enough.

Haha you know i didnt even notice that... Good eye!

I still cant comprehend how one could do this. Just look how straight the road is and the size of the snow bank... They must have been jonesin' for some ginger beef:nut:

Back in my restaurant supplies delivery days I did that exact same thing at that restaurant because they wanted their deliveries from the backdoor. If you parked in the front and carted/carried the stuff it would take a long time and in this weather your cart wouldn't do shit. At some locations we had to drive through a field to get to the backdoor. But that doesn't look like a delivery vehicle, maybe the owner or something stopping by. I was also the asshole who occasionally parked in the middle of the street in chinatown because there are always cars parked in the loading zone.

I know he/she was hungry, but at the very least he/she should have used the door.

I'd bet the lady driving the car (oh shit I shouldn't assume bad me bad me) started skidding, then pinned the accelerator thinking it was the brake.

I've seen this happen - I was going on Memorial a few years ago. The back end of a Civic driven by some lady came a little loose, so she completely panicked, slammed the gas pedal thinking it was the brake, flew across 3 lanes of traffic into oncoming traffic but luckily missed everyone), and into a bush in front of someone's house. Yeah the bush stopped her cause it high centered but she still had the gas pedal pinned until someone opened her door and told her to let go. Probably also the cause of many 'unintended acceleration' issues hehehe.
