there are many crate 350 engines available with different hp ratings... Your probably looking at $5000 plus depending on which one you choose. Check out Mopac for pricing

My friend had a stingray i think she picked up a new engine for about $3,000. Phone around to some yards and they can give you a quote over the phone. You can also make a search and look for crate engines or rebuilt engines. Some shops here in calgary have enigine in stock give them a try also. I think you will be spending 2-5 g's.

If your lookin for an all aluminum LT1 which is what I think your lookin for, look at spending 3-7g's for engine and tranny (6spd). Might as well just get some LT1 heads for the Stingray and do a rebuild on the engine. A FI system is a great piece but also costs alot. PM ebbsvette he is doing a 383 stroker in his vette and knows the cars inside and out. It's alot cheaper and easier to just mod out your existing engine, since it's probably a 350, it is the defintion of "after market support."
