I don't know the driver by any means, but I have seen that car in the Mt. Royal area a lot during winters in Calgary, which makes me think that it is his winter beater....

GT-R is a great winter beater and year around car much like the 911 4 or Turbo's. I'd imagine the R8 would be very capable as well. Won't get an itch if you can scratch any time you want. Not too sure about those Ferrari's though that could be dicey.

i've seen this guy ALOT in the SW especially near the oakridge/rockyview hospital area, its a 308 GTB i think, a low end ferrari, definetely his winter beater, the thing is falling apart last i saw it which was about 2 weeks ago, the rear hatch pops a half inch out when he goes over bumps.

anyone see the black continental GT some guy drives on glenmore every now and then, i almost always see it in winter. :nut: money to burn in this city.

I have seen this one too. Looks like a 2000ish model as it has the newer taillights. Also I think it had winter tires

I would drive my car year round, I don't give a shit if it's a super car. It's a car it's meant to be driven. Unless obviously the roads are absolutely ridiculous to the point of being dangerous. Even thinking of having a Continental GT as a year round car and a Lambo, as a summer car maybe.

The roads are fine enough to take the car out for a drive so why not.

I drive my GTR all winter. Love it, with the snow button and comfort button on, it drives better than most suv's.
Only Down side is 20" winter tires are not cheap.

I see a lot of GTR's. One of neighbor owns a white one, another guy owns a black one. Saw another black one today on Macleod. They are pretty good in any condition weather pretty much, so there's no reason why someone wouldn't drive them.
