Has anyone seen this Japanese produced documentary?

I've been looking for it hard without any luck.

It's doing the circuits right now. Top Gear did a little special/preview last year.

BD release is Mar for Japan, June for UK.

So I would assume we would see it in our stores around June too.

There was another thread on this and I'm sure there's a torrent out there although I have not searched.

I've got a downloaded version of it, but its only in Portuguese with no English subs. Its on one of those "invite only can't say name of site in public or else we'll ban you" torrent sites.
I'll share it though if anyone's got ideas as to how to share it outside of posting the link on here.

there are links to the BD rip on tehparadox.com

(forum/movies/HD)

For most of them you need a premium file server (or a helluva lotta patience:D )

Do the subs work for anyone else? They work for the first 5 or so minutes and then stop.

edit: use this one:
http://www.subs.to/download/subtitles/1280082/senna_%282010%29

works with this release:
Senna.2010.DVDRip.x264-OP

Im trying to watch via usb on my big screen so I need to either find a copy that has the subs already in it (the one you gave the link for doesnt) or could someone walk me through embeding a .srt file in a video file so its not an option to turn he subs on? They are just always on?

that was soo amazing! i honestly didnt expect so much drama from f1 driving. the vid made prost seem like a big baby

Prost wasn't as big a baby as the film portrayed him to be. This is coming from a Senna fan with blinders on haha.

I guess it figures that the very first F1 race I ever watched was Imola 1994 :|

I still remember sitting there going "he can't really be hurt, can he, dad?" and my dad continously saying "they're very safe in those cars, I'm sure he'll be fine."

Excellent movie, though. Will pick it up on blu-ray when it releases in Canada.

SO Ive managed to "mux" the .srt file into the mkv file. Will only play the subs on my comp but no through the tv... thoughts?? :banghead:

For anyone interested, here's a link to Ron Bennington interviewing the director. The password is ronbennington.

http://ronbenningtoninterviews.com/2011/09/26/asif-kapadia/

He didn't really say it in the interview, but on the Ron & Fez Show prior to the interview, Ron said he'd never heard of Senna and knew nothing about F1. He said the movie does such a good job of drawing the viewer in, that he was crushed when he found out that Senna died.
