Telus and unlocked iphone question.

Quick question. Anybody have problems with telus activating a sim card for an unlocked iphone? Reason i ask is my boss wants to buy my old iphone 3g, but hes on telus, and i was on rogers. I did a software unlock, but i dont want him to go to all the trouble buying it and then not being able to get a sim card for it.

shouldn't be any problems. if it's all done correctly, jb and unlock, pop in the sim card and you're good to go. SIM's are only 10 bux, as long as the service is transferred from CDMA to HSPA, it should work. There are some restrictions, however, depending on the current rate plan, in which the HSPA network just won't support it (or some features get dropped), but Telus rep should let him know if its compatible.
