Anyone tried this place? Seoul Korean BBQ (http://www.dealfind.com/calgary/seoulkoreanbbq?a=4441055e6f67)

$15 for $30 Worth of Authentic Korean Style BBQ and Drinks at Seoul Korean BBQ, seem pretty cheap but is it good?

Just checking it out on Dealfind, suggestions on other good Korean places in town?

I think it's pretty good. I do like this place better: http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/15/190883/restaurant/Beltline/Korean-Village-Calgary

But I'm planning on picking up one or two vouchers from Seoul anyway.

I love that place... the lunchbox is a great alternative to getting burgers or subway for lunch

went there on Saturday.. and had the worst service ever.... Three tables came in after me, and were finished well before I was. Dude even screwed up the order and gave it to one of the other tables.. (I think he was one of the managers, had no f'ing clue)...

Food was ok, but probably wouldn't go back..

Very slow service for sure, and it's on the more expensive side. But would go back once in awhile.

i used to go there but after a few bad services i refuse now
we would get the all you can eat and would only get maybe one or two orders before they would forget about us until we paid and left

extremely slow and poor service

Oh shitty deal for you guys man.

I went on Sunday for lunch. Service was quick, came around, gave us tea, took our orders. They were probably 75% full at the time. You were able to flag down any of the servers/bus people at any time. We ordered the BBQ combination and it was too much for 2 people so took some home. It was only my second Korean food experience. The food came out fast. The girl changed the grill once, refilled the tea. I honestly can't complain about anything. :nut:

I'm just hoping my experience next week is just as good because the food was just Seoul good lol:drool:

I'm also a fan. The food is quite tasty, especially if you do the cooking at your table, and service has always been quick and mistake free for me.

I can't comment as I go on the weekends for lunch but everything is the same same same. Same people, same service (efficient), same food (delicious).

Does this place have full down suction things like they have in Korea?

I always tell them to cook the meat in the kitchen. Faster than screwing around at the table grill

Besides i didnt go there to pay to cook my own meat

I like mine slightly burnt so I prefer to cook it myself.

The smell clings to you though so it's the wash straight when I get home.

They got a lot more stingy on side dishes compared to 4 years ago (but most Korean restaurants are going down that route). Other than that, it's the same.

It's too busy there most time, if I'm around there, I prefer driving down a bit further to Koreana across Big 4 motors.

Good service. Prefer that they cook the all you can eat for me rather than I cook it for I will have to sit there and watch my food while hungry.

Also don't plan to go out elsewhere after this restaurant unless you have had a deep cleaning shower and left your clothes to dry out in air (or ideally throw them in the wash) for you will be smelling like steamed meat down to your skivvies.
