I'm interested to hear which you like better, as there seems to be large numbers of people who feel one is better than the other (and vise versa).

The touch screen would throw me off the most, personally, but mostly because I am so anal about my stuff and I don't like greasy fingerprints on the LCD screen haha.

Also, on a side note, that 7-14 w/hood looks huge haha.

The touch screen focus is wicked. Co-worker picked up her GF2 this week, and I bought it purely for the touch screen focus option.

That looks sweet. I keep thinking of grabbing one so I have something more backpackable than my DSLR.

Damn, I might have to pick up one of these instead of the 7D.

I have the GF1 and absolutely love it to bits!

BUT DAMN, that lens is huge!

Oh man I'm so jealous! I REALLY want the 7-14 because I'm an ultra-wide fanboy. But I also JUST got something for M43 that I'm excited about too!

For a brand new lens, the build is so old school it's awesome. Just glass and steel, with a buttery smooth focus ring.

I can't wait to make some good use out of this.

I'm really diggin' the m43 format. It's really awesome.

Where did you get it?

no real sample photos yet... I've only used it to take random pics of my son so far. But it seems like it's a cracking lens.

I got mine at cameraquest. I paid for it back in like October and just got it. Stock for these lenses is insanely dismal compared to the demand.

Here's my sample pic. GF2 + 7-14mm. Full res sample.

Very nice. Not quite as much detail as I am used to seeing in larger sensors, but absolute 100% detail is certainly NOT the reason I bought the GF1. I want the 7-14. You shouldn't have started this thread.

Is it me or do the trees in the foreground have an almost pastel-like look to them?

Still quite impressive given the sensor size. Way better than any P&S, that's for sure.

Might be the default profile in lightroom that mucked it up. I'll try to get a straight raw to jpg extract without the preset corrections.

A little bit, but I can't say I find it overly distracting. It's actually kind of an interesting effect in this instance. I am curious to see the revised image but overall I think it's a great shot.

Looks like a fun setup!

Hmm definitely does seem to lack detail even for a m4/3 but whatever... Still looks good though but not what I expect from such a $$$$ lens. I assume the picture is cropped?

The lens does look huge though! Still very happy with the 20mm pancake and my 3 Leicas...
