If you live in Somerset, in deep south Calgary (just judging by your name). That is some rocky, clay soil. Obviously the best time of year is summer.

Not joking, and this is coming from a Saskatchewan boy, that land in south Calgary is hardcore. Make sure your fence builder actually digs out the rocks, not just cuts the fence posts off, which is like a million times easier to do.

Not Kidding.
