Kicker makes about 7 different 12" subs. You`ll need to be more specific.

Kicker Comp?
Kicker CompVR?
Kicker L3?
Kicker L5?
Kicker L7?
Kicker Soloclassic?

Okay, thats not a Kicker Sub. Thats an Energy sub. But non worries.
It says on the site that it handles 250 watts rms. So a small 300 watt mono amp will be sufficient.

So would this AMP be fine for this energy sub. The price on it is pretty decent since its on sale, and a few of my buddies have it for there system and its runs flawless. Thanks

it will work yes but you need to bridge it.

+-+-
pick the middle two
and run the wires to your sub.

all this does is run 200 watts from one channel and 200 from the other obtaining max power.

alright so i tried hooking it up, the car was pre wired for subs, i received no power to amp, and it was well connected to the battery, what might be wrong? fuse??? :(

Could be a number of things...

-The car was pre-wired (assuming from previous owner)... Is everything hooked up? Typically when you take out a system, you remove the main fuse to the battery (check there)

-If the power is hooked up with fuse and it still doesn't power on, make sure your ground is on some nice clean steel, as well as tightened well...

-If ground and power are both good and still no power at the amp, check your remote wire (check RCA's while your in here too) to the back of your deck (typically blue)... This tells the amp to turn on / won't work without it...

Thats pretty much it on the power end... Are you setting the amp up yourself as well?
