2001 Golf 1.8t, 4 doors with the gti 1.8t engine. Rare car, there was only about 6 to 8 thousand produces in the two years that they were offered.
- ~204000km, I drive it.. so it will slowly go up.
- Timing belt done around 145k, still a while to go before it needs to be done again.
- New wiper linkage, fuel filter, iridium spark plugs, thermostat, 4 new rotors with new brake pads, stainless steel brakelines on all four corners, stainless steel clutch line, all new motor mounts, as well as four new coilpacks.
- Full exhaust (not loud), retune (great mileage), boost gauge (useful to stay out of boost for better mileage), adjustable lowering suspension (rides great and can be adjusted for any driver), cold air intake and the recommended upgraded diverter valve for the retune.
- Regular oil changes, on time with OEM filter and synthetic oil.
- Power everything, traction control (with winter tires it does well in winter), and heated mirrors.
Car runs great, just had a tune up! Fantastic first car, or sporty (yet still useable because of 4 doors) hatchback for spring! New pictures coming tomorrow. Car is located in Medicine Hat but delivery could be arranged. Car comes with winter tires and steelies, but no summer wheels.
