Cool video on some neat photographs. He talks about his life a bit at first, photography talk starts at about 5 minutes in. Hope it's not a repost, did a quick search didn't see anything.

Enjoy, and if anyone can embed this format video that'd be great lol.

That's pretty awesome. I should try something like that around here in Tokyo, would be some frickin' great locations.

It's not much, but it's a start.

And yes I'm aware of the dust-spots, these are just the images I threw up on Facebook. They are taken here in Asakusa, Tokyo on the 11th floor of my apartment building.

Nikon D7000
Tamron 10-24mm
Bulb with cord trigger
f16
ISO 800

Those are actually pretty good for a start! I wanna try it too maybe tonight. I'm going to experiment.

Post it up, let's see. Tomorrow night I'm on a 'date' with a videographer from the states, heading out to one of the river parks and going to see how many of these balls we can create. I should point out too that these two images I made were with a 1000 yen ($12) LED flash-light swinging on a she-lace.

its not easy as one would think... I went out the other night and tried different ideas as far as turning to make it one ball... but this is as close as I came... and I totally forget what it is I did...

Clean your lens and I'll clean mine ;)

ANYWAY, cool shot! What were you using?

We were using one traffic-wand (the super blue here) and a few glow-sticks... turns out red glow-sticks suck crap. I should point out too that it was SO dark here that with your naked eyes, even after about 10 minutes, you could see nearly NOTHING.

What's that you ask? Radiation... I'm in Tokyo after-all ;)

Not ball of light... but still fun to do.

Cool! looks like you figured out a technique!

I was using a small 3-LED flash light on a shoelace.
