how are these things at higher mileage? Even if the engine and trans are very reliable, other components might start to go on the vehicle, like suspension, ball joints, etc. Then again I had a s10 with 522000km and it ran great. I would still check it out and see if the price is right.

My '98 OBS has 310k kms. Engine was blown when I bought it, pretty easy/fast to replace. Chassis side, I have no idea what kind of maintenance the previous owner(s) did on it, but all I've had to do is the wheel bearings. edit: I've driven it for over 10,000kms since I got it

300k On a turbo engine, I'd assume the turbo was pretty toast by now.

My 2005 Legacy GT has 183000km on it now, engine runs pretty good, has a couple small oil leaks, clutch was done, control arm bushings were done, failed wheel bearing which took out the wheel speed sensor.

Yeah, it's okay. It's not so much the mileage, it's how it was maintained and what has been replaced/fixed on it. I sold a work truck with 480ish km on it last year and the thing ran great/the body was amazing but at the same time we bought a 2006 f-150 with under 100km on it and the thing was absolutely fucked and cost nearly $6000 to get it road worthy and safe.

Go get a proper inspection on it.

my 05 wrx has 191k and could be mistaken for one with 91k. Less squeaks and rattles than my gf's 05 sentry with 86k.
