Compustar Alarm

Hello,

I recently took out my entire dash for some painting and as I put it back, I must have messed up somewhere because now my key won't connect to my alarm. (It can't lock/unlock or autostart)

Does anyone know the common problem or which wire I may have forgotten?

The auto start still initiates though (go to neutral, take out key, car turns off after the last door is closed) but my key can't connect to it.

Also, i couldnt get into my car so I had to use the stock key and deactivate the alarm (clicking it 5 times). Is it simply a problem with reactivating or did I miss a wire?

Any ideas?

try re-linking the remote to your car, cycle your key 5 times quick, parking lights will flash twice, press lock on the remote, wait 5 seconds, parking lights will flash again and you are done.

So I tried everything with the Compustar manual. Is there a specific plug that goes into the black box for the receiver? I'm guessing I forgot to replug something back in but everything going into the black box looks fine..

Again, the system itself works, it just can't connect to the key (remote).

Check the antenna plug.. 4 pin plug that goes on the top part of the brain.
