Best place for Sod? and where can you get the chiseled rocks for yard?

Well it is almost that time of year :)

I need to sod my new place this spring, what type of sod would you suggest and where is the best place to purchase from?

I also want to get out house number engraved in a flat rock for the front yard, any suggestions as to where I can get this done?

Blue Grass by Cross Iron, they deliver or you can pick up.

I got mine from Eagle Lake last year and have had no problems with it.

I looked at blue grass and called around a few places, but my mom ended up finding me some on kijiji which ended up being quite cheap for some nice grass and was delivered and all that. I think it was about $110 or so but i cannot remember how many rolls it was.

I've bought twice from chinook sod farm out by high river, you call and request how much you want and they cut it on the same day.

does anyone around Calgary sell sod with a different species of grass in it? I'm overseeding my lawn with some sheep fescue this year,hoping it'll eventually take over. Much hardier variety, but from what I hear, it's not possible to use as sod, since the roots go too deep.

Used eagle lake in my last house. they are located pass strathmore. Blue glass is beside cross iron mills.
