Someone has been hit by a train downtown.

News said 7th ave and the NW line is shut down.

Let the gong show begin.

Our bus driver on the 301 this morning said anyone going South can catch a shuttle bus at the Calgary Tower which will take you to the stampede station that has trains. Anyone going NE can catch a shuttle at City Hall. NW is screwed because it happened so early that a single train didn't make it through. But just as we rolled in at about 6am a train passed going west so I'm not sure if it's clear yet or not and our driver didn't know either.

thats fucked up. I walked by 7th ave to go to work today, and I saw police investigating beside a ratty old hoodie laying on the ground, so I figured a bum got hit by a train. But that is brutal.

Just got in to work..NW trains still stopping at Sunnyside where a couple hundred people were waiting for non-existent shuttles. Most of us walked and as of ten minutes ago still no trains running on 7th

I think they had said three trains were running in the NW now. Got a ride to work when I heard what happened which was probably a good idea.

I walked from Bridgeland only to see a train go by 5 minutes after I crossed memorial. Fucking tools. CT could have known they were almost wrapping up and informed everyone train service would be restored.

Why do they take so long to investigate. If you're dumb enough to get hit by a train, scape them off the road and let them die elsewhere.

on tuesday someone on a northbound train from the core in the AM, wasn't holding on when the train started to move, guy tripped on a bag and fell over wanging his head, ended up with a pretty good gash hold up the train until EMT's arrive. class mate said the only reason he wasn't pissed off was because he watched the guy get what he deserved for being stupid.

So your saying 1 person getting sick is worth delaying HUNDREDS because they were to selfish to stay home? Seriously if your sick you better get off that train and not delay it.
