The last time I bought some, it was from the Safeway on Southland and McLeod Trail. Hope this helps!

not sure, we kinda switch it up. i think we were using cascade gel, then had those little pouch things and now we have Great Value powder. :bigpimp: but basically, we are getting mineral deposits in the dishwasher and on the glasses... and we are using a rinse aid too. :dunno: we tried using vinegar to remove the deposits in the dishwasher but it didn't work very well. Glisten is the only thing we've had that really works for the mineral deposits.

Use CLR

Seriously.

I would dump a bunch into my dishwasher and run it empty for a longer and hotter cycle.

Our dishwasher was so bad that cutlery and glasses would be covered in spots and the CLR worked great.

I tried CLR, dishwasher cleaner (twice), LemiShine from Canadian Tire ($$$ put it works), finally read a report in Consumer Reports and bough Cascade 3 in 1 detergent. CR said it was $$$, did the best job and there were no mineral deposits. They were right, I bought a plastic box of 44 and never looked back.

I used to get water spots on everything until I switched to Electra-sol Tablets w/Powerball. Not flawless but MUCH better.

I too have switched to the all in one "action packs" for detergents. Costs more than the cheap stuff, but it reduces the hard water spots, and leaves the dishwasher nice and clean.
