ITBs On Daily Driver

Is anyone running ITBs on a daily driver, especially with our weather here in Calgary? I have tried to find someone who runs ITBs (and possibly Megasquirt) in really cold weather but haven't found anything useful.
I'm trying to see if it's realistic to do this for a daily driver or just a fair weather car. The wife is making sounds about getting rid of the project car but I have a bunch of ITB parts in the garage now and I hate to start a project only to abandon ship.

ITBs + Megasquirt = nono unless you plan on running alpha-n and keeping a laptop in the car at all times
