What if I was wearing my pyjamas and the elephant crawled up the pant leg and I shot him?

Then you are such a fatass, that grammar is the least of your worries.

Is grammar in general the least of my worries, or just "that grammar" in the phrasing of the question? There is nothing wrong with the grammar in the title, it is simply a very ambiguous statement.

Your comma is bad grammar however.

I think the title should be: "Last night I shot an elephant in pyjama's"

As soon as you put MY pyjamas in there it kind of skews the test. I would have voted differently.

An elephant wearing my pyjamas would give me good reason to shoot it, no?

If I wanted to skew the test I would post the whole statement by Groucho Marx: "Last night I shot an elephant in my pyjamas. How he got into my pyjamas I'll never know."

You're all wrong. The elephant is clearly british.

"Last night I shot an elephant in my pajamas" is connected as "an elephant in my pajamas"

whereas

"Last night I shot an elephant, in my pajamas"
would be "Last night I shot ___ while I was wearing my pajamas"

Ah that is what I was thinking it needed to be.

I chose "in my pajama's" because i'm so used to reading retarded grammar in text, that it is pretty much implied that there should be a comma.

There isn't supposed to be one, and it doesn't affect the grammatical correctness of the sentence either way.
