I'm practicing my HDR imaging techniques. I took 3 pictures for HDR. Three at 0EX, +2EV, -2EV. When I view it on Picasa and save as JPG from Raw, it corrects the exposure for all 3 images. And they all end up looking the same.

Is there any way I can turn off the exposure correction?

I've never heard of anyone using picasa to make their HDR's...possible it's just me though.

Download the trial version of Nik Software HDR Efex Pro, or Photomatix. Good, dedicated, HDR software will give you the best results. Nik Software seems to be the best based on my experience and all the reviews I've read.

As for why Picasa auto-corrects your images I don't know as I don't use Picasa. That seems like something you should be able to turn off though.

If you're just viewing them in Picasa before loading them into an HDR program, Picasa isn't changing the raw files, so they'll be unaffected in the HDR program.
