For Sale: 1997 Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary model (80 Series)

This is NOT a JDM 'RHD' vehicle!

Antique Sage Pearl metallic paint, leather interior, fully loaded with F & R factory lockers. 194k miles (shows like 94k!)

1997 is the last year the amazing 80 Series was available in North America and the 40th Anniversary model is the best one they ever built.

This Land Cruiser is in amazing cosmetic and mechanical condition. Three owners since new, original paint, no accidents, no rust – ready to go!
It has only been in Canada for two years and during the winter it is washed religiously to keep the salt off.

I bought this rig with the intention of doing some overland adventure travel but a young family and business commitments have stolen all of my spare time. This vehicle has been used lightly off-road only four times in it’s life!

This is an overview of the maintenance and upgrade work that I’ve had done in the past 5k miles/14 months to get the vehicle ready for any kind of adventure. So many Land Cruisers are advertised with a long list of maintenance and upgrades but if you dig deeper the work was often done years ago or many miles ago. Everything on this rig has been done very recently. The total cost was close to $20k!

-Radiator, water pump, all hoses, LT upgraded fan clutch and thermostat.
-Front axle Birfield, seals, wipers and full rebuild.

*Yes I know there are Land Cruisers listed FS in the US for $10k but I am confident this one is nicer and by the time you factor in duty and GST plus the cost and time to get the vehicle here mine is competitively priced. I have plenty of horror stories to tell about buying a used vehicle sight unseen!

I will take more pics this week. Here is one more for now.

It has the 4.5L in-line six gas engine.
