Team Building Ideas

I'm looking to get some ideas for a team building event at work. Our department has approximately 25 people and are located in Calgary. Here are a few things we did in the past:

- Laser tag
- Golfing
- Driving range
- Amazing race at the Calgary Zoo
- Geocaching at Prince's Island Park

A lot of outdoor things are cheap and fun. Flag football, ultimate frisbee, floor hockey (indoor) are all good team building ideas. Or something like a mini-olympics style competition where they all have to complete relatively small tasks--maybe group everybody into teams of like 3-5 and then give them small tasks to complete.

Toxic River and Human Scavenger Hunt are both ones I've done and had with fun. There area bunch on the link I gave you. Some are lame while others sound decent.

About 6 years ago about 100 of us went to Nakoda lodge for a day of team building outdoor activities, it was outstanding! Go-karts and the COP bobsled run are other activities we did in smaller groups.

The shooting range is always a huge hit.

I see lots of groups go through when I am at The Shooting Edge (bachelor parties, birthdays, work groups, etc.) and everyone quite literally has a blast.
