hey guys, i know not to use UPS because of all the extra gay fees they charge for, so who has gotten something shipped about 50 pounds from the US and who did you use in order to bypass alot of these charges?

i looked into USPS and it looked like it was 150 bucks, no way am i paying that. any other suggestions?

Weight has nothing to do with it. It's the value put on for customs (GST that you're gonna be charged for anyway), plus a percentage brokerage fee.

I had an engine block shipped up to me from florida, I believe FedEX was used. I only had to pay GST, which was minimal.

Postal is good if it's small, but extremely expensive if the item is large, and if the item is large enough they will refuse to ship it so you have no choice but to use a courier.

I had my coillovers shipped from California USPS.
2 seperate boxes, marked as recycled auto parts.

Was cheap as shit.

prly about $50 or $60 a box * 2 boxes so around $120.00 if I remember correctly.

Keep in mind that you will pay virtually nothing at the post office box. If you do it UPS/Fedex/DHL you will get screwed when the delivery guy drops it off.

How small are we talking? I've shipped sideskirts by Canada Post/USPS before.

One company I now have lots of respect for is Purolator. Great prices and QUICK service

Just broker it yourself. You save a bunch and the UPS people get all pissy at you.

USPS under $200 on the package and your fine no fees.
