<Insert gay joke about meat lover>

Now that we got that out of the way, what are some awesome foods to try for a guy like me who loves rare/blue steak, all sushi and as much tar tar as human can eat?

Can be at home recipes or restaurant dishes....

Go.

theres a korean raw beef dish where they mix strips of beef with their house sauce, an egg n some fruit (usually pear or apple I like the pear better ^^) i recommand korean village where they reopened at 10 ave n about 11st SW for this dish but its pretty pricey, its an appetizer size dish n i think its around $25.

Edit: just noticed thats the dish GQBalla is talking about ^^

Absolutely the best fucking raw beef I've ever, EVER had, is the raw beef they serve at Song Huong. It's #60 on the menu. Location is here:

http://maps.google.ca/maps/place?num=100&hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&biw=1586&bih=1019&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=song+huong+calgary&fb=1&gl=ca&hq=song+huong&hnear=Calgary,+AB&cid=17972529355483477100

Basically it's thinly sliced raw beef (the same kind they put in their pho) doused with a special lime sauce, and topped off with basil, super hot red chili peppers, onions, peanuts, and fried garlic. Fuck I am drooling just thinking about it.

I've had the one from Korean Village. It's good and it's a very big portion. I think the raw egg is a nice touch. But the Song Huong one trounces. Well I guess it depends on your taste. One is sweet and delicate, the other is blow your fucking mind insanely good.

BTW Beef Tataki.. LOL you don't need a recipe for that. It's just seared beef, cut thinly, then served with grated daikon, grated ginger, and negi (green onion), and doused with ponzu (citrus soy sauce). You can get ponzu in ANY grocery store nowadays. Just look in the Asian section of Superstore/Safeway/Co-op/Sobey's etc...

The chicken feet variation is deadly too (if you can get it)
