Need opinions: Streetfighter-ing my bike

Sup doods, so I'm new to the whole bike thing and just got my license and bike last summer...

This is what it looked like when I got

So I've bought some Di-noc and wanted to cover the fairings below the seat and around the seat as well as the lower part of the bike that currently says V-Four on it in Di-noc. Then refinish the tank and front fender in white (maybe pearl white or white with gold pearl?)

Now I have to replace that monster sized OEM gauge cluster I have there. Its just zip-tied on for now until I find an aftermarket cluster with all the original indicators I can find.

SOOOO...any one have experience install those aftermarket gauges on old bikes like mine? Would the CF Di-noc look ok you think?

PS: the black duct tape was just holding the light in place while the urethane glue dries to hold it in place lol ya ya its a bit ghetto...

Also, does anyone know how to install those handle bar end mirrors? My handles cover the ends with the rubber grips, can I just trim the rubber back and install those mirrors??

I can't help you out with anything technical but the bike looks worlds better in that second pic, good work.

Had one in highschool.. Fun enough bike..

Just cut the grip ends off. The bar end mirrors just wedge in there with a bolt that you tighten as seen here.
